A boring 40 hours...

40 hours ago this house became ours...

Since then, the following has occurred...

This wall separating the dining room and kitchen came down. How about this wallpaper, huh?
This was before the walls came down ( 24 hours after closing ).
These walls are in process of coming down (to be finished tomorrow). This is the view from the dining room into the living room.

This is some of the approx. 1400 square feet of carpet we tore out...followed by the removal of about 10 million staples.

We also, re-painted the master bedroom and have had the basement "mudded" to be finished off. The hardwood is almost finished being sanded. Fortunately we were able to hire out many of these jobs. So, it has been a great first less than two days.
